Schönes Zimmer, bequemes Bett, tolles Bad. Aber eben keine Ferienwohnung sondern ein Zimmer mit KÜCHENZEILE. Aber ausreichend.

modern building built as terraces down a hillside, decor and fittings excellent. If the kitchenette was removed it would be a luxury hotel bedroom.

3 times round the block to find the narrow lane to the property. Tight bend in the lane with no turning space so I reversed out and illegally parked on the main road to unload. Had to ask the man in the penthouse how to get to the apartment. Down 45 steep stone external steps with the bags. Walked across the "private" terraces of number 8 & 9 to get to terrace of no 10. Couldn't find the key safe, had to ask the occupant in the apartment above - it was at the top of the 45 steps. Only entrance through glass door off terrace. No curtains or blinds, privacy afforded by electric shutter outside of entrance window. During the day shutter lowered half way to keep sun out, crawl under to get out and be able to lock the door. Should have key switch on outside wall to lower fully. No view of lake, only trees, backs of houses and a building site. No local tax cards left in the room - did we really pay the tourist tax? Fridge kept me awake, click whir whir clunk all night 1 metre from my pillow. Shutter fully down after dark for privacy, no mechanical winder to raise the shutter therefore would be trapped in the event of a power cut, no other exit. If there was a fire and a power cut I would be smashing my way out. Only 1 mug provided in the kitchenette !!! On leaving getting the bags back up the steps was one step at a time and I am a fit 68 year old, glad it never rained, car illegally parked again 150 metres away.
