"Unprofessional customer service and difficult host"

Good location, spacious balcony with sea view and sounds of waves, spacious apartment.

After this apartment we went to another one in Fuengirola to which I gave 10 point, and there was no any deposit or dubious agreements, and the reception was lovely. In fact after many years of visiting Costa del Sol nobody ever asked for any deposit or ridiculous agreements. The owner of Costa Quebrada Residencial 1 apartment was not satisfied with my evaluation “Really good” and started complaining and accusing the customer, which he does every time when he is not happy with the evaluation. I knew from his previous comments to other customers that he cannot take any constrictive critics and unprofessionally starts fighting with any customer who express negative notes. That is way at first I didn’t mention any negative sides. But after he started demanding explanations I decided to give him my honest review. 1. First question to the customers at checkout “How many things are broken?” is a very poor customer service. The same goes to attacking customers in public conversations. From the beginning we felt like the owner give us a huge favour by letting us stay in his precious apartment. Introduction was below standard, mostly about what we can not do or touch. Totally obsessed with his own rules and control. 2. Payment methods are outdated. 3. Balcony glazing needs to be repaired. 4. Poor soundproof/noisy neighbours 5. Washing machine is too old and faulty. 5. Sofa is too old and falling apart. Nick, thank you for cancelling our next booking out of you petty revenge. The new booking was made before our first visit and we were about to cancel it anyway.

We loved the super cleanliness; the spaciousness; the great kitchen & bathroom; fantastic balcony with dining table & chairs & sofa for snoozing on/reading in the shade to the sound of the waves rolling in; great view over Viborilla beach; big Mercadona supermarket only a few hundred yards away. Nick, the owner, was flexible with arrival and departure times and kindly rang for a taxi for us on our departure.

There was nothing to dislike.

the space and the view. it was amazing. the appartment is complete with anything we needed. the location is superb. we were blown away by the view from the balcony, which was also spacious. the sound of the sea was Lovely.

Everything. Nick was very easy to communicate with before we even arrived and dealt kindly with my questions. On arrival he was there to meet us and explained all we needed to know about the property, pointed out nearby restaurant and where the supermarkets were. The apartment was really lovely; very well equipped; very very clean; comfortable furniture; spacious; fantastic balcony overlooking the sea/beach, great air-conditioning. It requires hard work to keep an apartment like this in tip-top condition and many other hosts could learn a lot from how wonderful this apartment is. It was also great to be able to have a secure garage space for our rental car - well worth the 6 euros per day.

We cannot think of anything we didn't like, except that we wished we were able to stay longer!
