Sea View Benal Beach Apartment - Self Check-In - Benalmádena Costa Near Marina

We had a wonderful communication with the host. His place was wonderful for my family. Definitely, we will be back to this apartment.

The property is well located close to the beach.

Unfortunately, our experience at this apartment was quite disappointing on multiple levels. Firstly, the owner bombarded us with unprofessional voice messages before we arrived, even though we'd already paid and establish the time of arrival on booking. Secondly, during our stay, he once again voice-messaged us, requesting us to wait around for measurements to be taken in the bathroom for future repairs. Of course, this was an inconvenience, especially during a vacation when we had no intention of waiting around for someone else maintenance tasks. Thirdly, as our stay came to an end, the owner once again voice-messaged us, reminding us to vacate the apartment "on time." Adding more to our disappointment, the apartment itself was far from comfortable, featuring an uncomfortable bed and an even more uncomfortable couch. This made it nearly impossible to relax and enjoy our stay. What is more, the WiFi signal and stability was terrible, making it impossible to use. Moreover we only got one set of keys, which was very inconvenient when we needed to leave the apartment at different times. In essence, our host's conduct and the quality of the apartment left much to be desired. It appeared that the main focus here was making money rather than prioritizing the comfort and enjoyment of the guests.

Good location, apartment well maintained. Comfortable bed, Wi-Fi, TV. Balcony with table and chairs.

A plan of where the pool, restaurants, supermarket onsite would be helpful.

We liked it's proximity to the beach & to the bars & restaurant. The apt was excellent & was well supplied with towels etc.

The staff at reception left a lot to be desired. I left the one key we had at reception for my husband, who was out walking. They refused to give him the key even though they had a copy of our passports sent already. His name was on the envelope, too, which contained the key. They wanted ID. He had nothing with him as he was out walking. The guy at reception needs a lesson in customer services.

The room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. We arrived early due to a change of flight and the owner did his best to get the room ready early for us. The view from the balcony was great.

Not big issues but a few things about the complex that you need to know. The luggage room costs 5euros and is cash only. It is 4.50euros to hire a sun lounger at the pool, the guy that organises this is really nice though and you can pay by cash or card. (not a big problem just good to know before you go). Only other thing about the room was we could have done with an extra sheet for the sofa bed. Check in was little bit confusing but we got there in the end 😁

Excellent location, fantastic facilities. Host always v attentive and responsive. Apartment v clean with lovely views. We would definitely rerurn.

Staff in Benal beach quite abrupt and rude at times. Not all but particularly those working in the pool complex.

It's in a good location central benalmadena it's clean and comfortable, good shower. The apartment contact is helpful and responds well.

There are no simple instructions in English to work anything like the cooker or microwave and you have no simple information like you must close the patio door or Air conditioner won't work, there's a lack of drinking glasses and lack of hooks in the bathroom,

complex needing/being refurbished. no included gym or spa as expected, I thought i was paying more for that apartment than my family to get this.

Secure, outside space, grounds and pool facilities. Great location.
