Cosy studio apartment

It was very very tidy and very clean, Who is basically everything there that we needed.

We were an older couple and the steep stairs with 11 steps wooden and when wet very slippery it was a bit of a challenge. The bedside lighting was a bit of a challenge and when found out next day that they weren't plugged in and we didn't find a plug in point until daylight next morning. The one thing that troubled me most was the smoke alarm , when I finally found it it was up on top of the cupboard and it appears not to be working, as has a 41 year firefighter it gives me some concern. I know these seem to be a little things but to me safety is more important, other than these we really enjoyed our stay it's just at our age it was a little difficult.

It was reasonably priced. Searched booking.com for units with separate bedroom which this obviously didn't have. Pictures showed a view, which was misleading because it doesn't have one. You have to go outside to have a view. Unit is at the back of the property and quite dark. Otherwise tidy and reasonably priced. Kitchen and bathroom are very poky and small. There is one element. You'd struggle to cook more than a basic Meal. Booking.com is not very helpful by including properties you don't want and false advertising.

The owners were friendly and helpful. Recommended a good Thai restaurant for dinner

The door between the attached apartment and the main apartment can only be locked on one side. When the owners locked the door on their end, the latch couldn’t work.

It had everything we needed, it was clean, comfortable, easy to get to on the bus while we didn't have a car
