Cosy studio apartment

Good facilities. The area

Dark and cold took over 2hrs to warm up electric blanket didnt work. Cushions on the bed smelt of body odor yuk.

Great location - central to our time in Sumner and Lyttlelton.

Dust accumulates. Vacuum underneath bed area would've been good,

Great location, very friendly host, who met us and gave us a lift to the wedding we were attending. Studio unit which met all our needs, would use again.

The owner was happy to help me work out how to turn around and secure my trailer. Even though it's attached to a house it is private and the owner leaves you to do your own thing.

It is a very small space. It has everything you need though. There's no view from the room but there is from outside. The toilet roll holder was rusty, the clock and bedside lights were not working.

Heater worked well on a very cold night

The bed was uncomfortable and had a hollow in the middle. The toilet wasnt screwed to the floor properly. The stairs made access difficult.

This small crowded space was musty, the bathroom was dirty and mouldy, the electrics were suspect with power outlets overloaded and very close to taps, the relic of a couch was saggy and lumpy and matched the bed, the sea view shown in pictures was from the owners deck, not the unit. I started sneezing on entering the property (I am allergic to mould). The owner was rude and agressive, said we were lying when we pointed out all the issues and refused any refund for the 3 days we had paid. We did not stay as my health was deteriorating and forfeited our money!

Great view, nice location, friendly host, useful information provided. Fast wifi and good pressure shower.

Nothing - it's an older property but there was nothing at all wrong with it, it was clean and tidy and had all amenities.
