The property was very well furnished/exceptionally clean and Louise was very welcoming and literally 'over the road' if there were any problems. The general location was perfect for our visit as we were there to climb Ben Nevis. The local pub 'The Lochy' was very welcoming and there are takeaway options as well as a Co-op within 5 minutes of the property. There is a beautiful 'lochside walk' within 10 minutes of the property which was ideal for morning/evening walks with our dog.

The specific location of the property is within a large estate which was slightly surprising based on the photographs and we would have preferred it to be a little less 'built up'

Louise is very nice person! She is very kind to answer my question quickly. Everything is very helpful. It’s very quiet at night, so you can have a good sleep!

The bathroom outside: Shower room is a open space (no door no curtain) , so it’s all wet after the first guest has bath finished. We all felt very trouble about this.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay because the house was very clean and cosy. You instantly felt at home. Whenever we had a question our host was ready to help. Also, the house is located very conveniently if you want to explore the surrounding area (Mallaig, Glencoe, West Highlands in general).

Quality furnishings, immaculately clean, location was quiet and near some gentle walks along the canal and Loch. Easy drive to Fort William and surrounding Glen Nevis Ranges. Kids liked having separate bedrooms.

The house is very well kept, features all modern conveniences including a very fast internet connection and Louise is a most attentive and caring host, the service provided is impeccable. The narrow staircase might pose a problem for less agile persons. Two of the bed-rooms upstairs are very small and the double bed in the master bed-room is quite narrow (140cm?). The location is residential and at first sight not overly attractive. However, at the second glance the neighbours are very friendly, it is very quiet and there is a pub with most attentive service within walking distance, but downtown Fort Williams is a good 10 minutes by car. The Caledonian Canal and Neptune's staircase are close.
