Pas grand chose....

Comment dire... J'ai fait une réservation par rapport aux photos sur le site d'un appartement. En arrivant nous n'avions qu'une chambre. Après avoir échanger avec le propriétaire, il m'a dit que ce n'était pas ce que j'avais réservé et qu'il faire plus attention lors des réservations. Bref. Pour avoir l'appartement il a fallu rajouter 50 livres en espèce . Soit un total de 157€ pour le petit appartement pour une nuit .... La vue du salon donne sur un tas de gravats et déchets multiples ( évier, ballon d'eau chaude ainsi qu'un trou...) l'appartement n'était très bien équipé ,pas de torchon dans la cuisine pas de gants pour le four et surtout pas de brosse dans les toilettes et la douche qui ne se vide pas bien. Le sas d'entrée sert de stockage pour l'aspirateur et les produits d'entretien. Le quartier ne semble pas très rassurant. Il y a beaucoup de choses à revoir pour proposer de tels prix. C'est la première fois que ça nous arrivent et je ne le recommande pas du tout.

Die Anzeige bei Booking.com ist etwas irreführend. Es wird in der Beschreibung immer von "der Unterkunft" gesprochen, das bezieht sich aber auf den gesamten Wohnkomplex, der aus teilweise Apartments, teilweise aus Zimmern besteht, die alle sehr unterschiedlich sind. Achten sie genau darauf, was sie buchen und welche Eigenschaften ihre Buchung hat. Die Beschreibung der Austattung war allerdings insgesamt zutreffend und korrekt. Zustand, Sauberkeit und das insgesamte Wohngefühl allerdings nicht. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Bad gebucht. Für solch ein Zimmer in diesem Zustand über 90 Pfund zu verlangen ist schlichtweg nicht akzeptabel. Zwar war das Bett frisch bezogen und alles oberflächlich auch einigermaßen gereinigt, die Fensterbank zeigte aber Ansätze von Schimmel und wenn man in die Ecken schaute, lagen dort tote Insekten. Alles war sehr abgenutzt. Auch Flur und Eingangsbereich des Gebäudes hatten schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Das Putzzeug stand einfach auf dem Gang vor unserem Zimmer, überall roch es penetrant nach Reiniger. Blickte man aus dem Fenster, schaute man auf Geröll und Müll im "Garten". Die Lampe war eine einfache Fassung mit Glühbirne. Vielleicht ist das minimalistisch-modern, jedenfalls passte zum Wohnstandard. Das Gebäude ist den ganzen Tag offen, nachts wird es allerdings abgeschlossen. Das empfanden wir als unangenehm, da theoretisch jeder dort rein kann. Auch wenn das eine sichere Gegend zu sein schien, so empfindet man dies als Ortsfremder als extrem störend. Zudem ist es sehr hellhörig, man versteht jedes Wort aus dem Zimmer nebenan. Man kann hier zur Not eine Nacht verbringen, es ist keine totale Katastrophe, wenn man über einiges hinweg sieht. Und immerhin konnte man gut und gratis parken, man ist aber auch weit weg vom Zentrum. Auch der Besitzer ist erreichbar, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist für Zustand, Austattung und Lage aber unterirdisch.

Comfortable bed. Near to takeaway and shops.

Pictures of property misleading. Says apartment when it’s a room only. Could hear voices etc from neighbouring rooms. No wardrobes. Too many codes to get through doors to get to room. Strong smell of turps in main hallway. About 4 miles out from Fort William town.

Easy check in/out and Room 3A where we stayed is modern. Fish and Chips shop next door for convenient for a feed.

The electric shower system doesn’t seem to flow fast enough, shower head holder that doesn’t lock into place, and the spring bed mattress.

Parcheggio e zona periferica che sembra tranquilla, fuori dal centro città.

La stanza è semplice (ad esempio il lampadario è solo una lampadina), ma nel complesso è piacevole. La principale nota negativa è l’assenza della cucina, mostrata in tutte le foto. Prenotando la camera “Room only” si può pensare di avere una stanza privata con cucina in comune, ma in realtà la cucina è riservata a un’altra sistemazione e non è utilizzabile, nonostante compaia in tutte le immagini e nell’anteprima della prenotazione. All’ingresso ci sono alcuni oggetti rotti e servono più diversi codici di accesso per raggiungere la stanza.

Close to shops and town centres. Plenty of parking available. Fish and chip shop next door. Also a co-op beside apartments. Guess it’s ok place to stay for overnight if your plan is to go hiking next day would not suggest more that one day stay. WiFi was available.

- No pressure in shower took around 30 minutes to try and wash my shampoo out of my hair (hair is not overly long). - shower very slippy due to no option of shower mat. ( I almost slipped a couple of times trying to just wash my hair also trying to leave the shower requiring my having to call on my partner to help due to being no handles either for support). - When lying in bed I had put my hand down the side of the mattress where I could feel possibly old food. Photo attached. - Very loud outside and could hear others staying in the apartment. - the bed felt as it was uneven, felt that I was falling towards outside of bed. When I had lifted the mattress to check the bed slats there was an offal odour smelling like damp. - kettle was very slow boiling and considering this is the only thing available to make meals (unless going out for tea) I felt it would have been best to have a fast boiling kettle or possibly another option of shared microwave in the hall way of the 3 apartment that share apartment 3. I was also not aware that the room would be in a shared apartment with others. I knew it was room only but unaware that it would be one apartment. - 2x bath towels I noticed had yellow stains on the top of them. - also be advise there is no tv available in the room only.
