Villa Elena - Appartamento Vista Mare

Everything in the apartment was like a home from home, you had more essentials items than accually was described on booking. The iron and hairdryer is not on apartment items ( so brought our own) Bbq was fab so spent long evenings cooking and looking at view! The apartment was very spacious with plenty of bathrooms and a beautifully equipped kitchen. Both terraces were fantastic and offered a stunning view, which you could also enjoy from one of the bedrooms. We also appreciated the beach chairs and parasols provided, as well as the charcoal grill.

The drain in one of the showers didn't work properly, so the water quickly rose to ankle level. The glass enclosure on the terrace was also out of service. On top of that, the host sent the recycling collection schedule too late, which forced us to drive the sorted waste to the collection point ourselves.

L'emplacement était idéal, avec la plage à proximité, et l'environnement très agréable. Les lieux étaient propres et bien entretenus. La communication avec Madame Elena a été fluide et réactive, ce qui a grandement facilité notre séjour.

La gestion des poubelles a été un peu compliquée au début, mais nous avons rapidement pris nos repères.

The view from the upper apartment was just like the pictures, stunning and the main reason we booked this place. It's perfect for 6 adults with good bedrooms and bathrooms for all. Eating around the table whilst admiring the view is an experience that can make a holiday.

The building of a new villa next door was a big problem. To be awoken at 7.30am to the sound of a digger, crane and concrete mixer was not what we wanted on holiday. The noise is less than 10m from us and made being in the apartment unbearable between 7.30am and 5pm. I complained to the owner who claimed they knew nothing of this building work. To not be informed during booking is deceitful in my view. Be warned, this building will still be going on into 2025. Would I stay again? Yes but not until the work next door is finished.
