Beautiful location, great view, friendly host

Lovely room in tha basement of the main house surrounded by a lush garden, beautiful view, nice welcome from the host, room is little but well equipped, very quiet neighborhood. Good value for money.

I cannot sum it all up, but this was the place where for the first time in all of S.A. absolutely everything worked very very well. Best equipped appartment ever. Internet, shower, watercooker, microwave, nice bed, little terrace. The loadshedding did not disturb, because they automatically and instantly switched over to solar energy at loadshedding, whereby you could still use the cooker and the microwave. And, most important, the internet stayed working during loadshedding. Why don't all South Africans get this done? This was the first time that loadshedding did not at all disturb the ongoings and it felt amazing, as if loadshedding didn't exist anymore. We were puzzled by it. Was Bob a super engineer? How did he do it? We could never ask him, because we were left in total privacy and only spoke with him for a minute or so. So we were fully enjoying the view on the lush and well kept garden and the bay. With the wonderful sea breeze the temperatures were very relaxing, not too hot, not too cold, just right. This is arguably the best place we stayed at. A couple of kilometers down the road is the "Kabeljous Reserve", a kind of National Park made of flora of Renoster Veld or Fynbos, with the most remarkable wildflowers and bushes. It runs along the coast, behind the beach and around the Kabeljous River. It is maintained by a group of volunteers. They even attached little signs to the plants with their names on it. My compliments! Furthermore, Jeffrey's Baai has a wonderful restaurant. But Sea View is the place to stay if you want to really relax. Thanks to Rina and Bob.
