Apartment was as depicted in pictures. Very clean but smelled of cigarettes. We found the beds comfortable and the kitchen area satisfactory.

Check in was difficult. The phone number from Booking was not the correct number to call for entry. Cigarette smell (we're sensitive to it). Parking was a challenge for a normal sized car.

Alles war sehr gut

The apartment is on the ground floor, clean, equipped with everything you need. Both the door at the entrance to the building and the apartment door are controlled remotely by the owner. There is a parking space in the garage, but quite small, for Opel Corsa or similar cars. Our car did not enter, but the owner found an alternative, also free of charge.

The apartment gives an excellent first impression. You enter - you like. To me, that's valuable. It also matches the photos on the website, no unpleasant surprises there. The location is convenient if you like us come by public transport. The Überlingen train station is 5 minutes away. The arrival was arranged very well. The door has a smart lock, so I called the host upon arrival, and he let me in. The apartment is very well renovated and has almost everything one could need for a one or several nights stay.

The main disadvantage of this place is the bed. Although huge (we traveled with the baby, so having extra space was very useful), it makes quite some noise when one lies down or turns during sleep, and the mattress is just not good. We managed to sleep till 5 am, but after that, my wife and I found it hard to fall asleep. A couple of smaller complaints that didn't affect us too much but are still worth mentioning. 1. The stock of coffee could be bigger. The apartment has a coffee machine, but coffee beans are probably filled in by the host (at least we couldn't find them in the kitchen). It was just enough for 2 cups of coffee, but not more. 2. We asked for the baby cot before arrival. We found it in the storage room of the apartment, but there were no extra sheets.

The apartment is walk-able distance to the Bodensee and with many bakeries, shopping facilities and eateries around. Also it is very well connected to the other towns as well ask Konstanz. We enjoyed our stay and it was very easy to collect the keys. The underground garage facility for the car adds more value to the apartment.
