Terrible Experience – Avoid Apartamentos Orfeo Azul in 2025 and 2026 We had an awful stay at Apartamentos Orfeo Azul and had to leave early due to extremely loud renovation noise that made the apartment unlivable. At no point before or during booking were we informed about ongoing noise of construction with a jack hammer at outlr apartment balcony. The noise was so disruptive we couldn’t even hear each other speak inside the apartment. To make matters worse, we woke up one morning to find male construction workers standing on our balcony at 8AM—completely invading our privacy. We had just opened the curtains when we saw them right there. Absolutely unacceptable. When we complained, the only “solution” offered was to move to another floor—but only if we paid a significant additional fee. They were difficult and unhelpful when we tried to resolve the issue. We ended up leaving and paying out of pocket for a new hotel. This was a massive inconvenience and expense that could have been avoided if they had been upfront. Avoid this place at all costs in 2025 and 2026. Based on our experience, this accommodation is misleading and operates with very little regard for guest comfort or transparency.

No breakfast included

The apartment was modern, comfortable, with a lovely view of sea, close to all amenities.

Interior of property was recently renovated and was very comfortable. 5 minute walk to the beach promenade.

External facade is being refurbished so very noisy Monday to Friday. Works start at 8 o’clock in the morning. If you want to spend time in the apartment you will need to be prepared to deal with the construction works.

Nothing. These apartments should not be open while construction is under way. We were told the facade was under rehabilitation... not that we could not go into our balcony as it was a danger zone... even though the doors could be open. Not that we would be woke by men on our balcony at 8am with a cargo hammer looking in and not that you couldn't sit at the pool as you may get rubble dropped on you and couldn't hear yourself talk with the noise. Contacted booking.com, got a lovely gentleman 1st who couldn't hear me speak with the cargo hammer and agreed it was ridiculous. Was told I would be rang back in 30 mins which I wasn't . I rang again 4 hours later, spoke to Rachal who had no empathy at all and sent an email to say the apartment owner would not refund or move us we had no choice but to move, costing us alot of additional money which we had not budgeted for. We had a lady who had just been diagnosed with cancer whom we all wanted to take away to cheer up; I can tell you it did the opposite. I cant express me disappointed. I could write a novel about this trip it was so bad
