Apartment No 18 - West Terraces

The location was pretty good and the security guard on reception was brilliant.

The beds were awful - mattresses didn’t fit and were so old it was like sleeping on a wooden bench. I contacted the owner who arranged for a piece of foam to be delivered - this smelled awful and only fit part of the bed! The mattress cover had urine and sweat stains as did the mattresses and headboard’s! There was a single sheet on the bed but there were duvets in one wardrobe which reeked of sweat and were completely stained with gos know what. It the smell permeated the whole room. There were bugs on the benches at the instant that you put anything in them - even a plastic bag got covered. The showers were dirty and mouldy and there was NO toilet roll despite it being on the facilities list. Sheets and towels were ripped and old and the kitchen utensils were few and far between let alone a mismatch of plastic and ceramic plates - but not one side plate or bowl to speak of. The washing machine stunk really badly of damp and when it rained one of the bedrooms was flooded right by the travel cot and the bed was wet where the two came through the air conditioner vent hole through the wall- I informed them of this and they were already aware and also agreed that the whole place needed a deep clean!! So why let it as it was?

Reasonably well located to the public Flic en FLAC beach which was about 800m to a Km away. However you could cross over the road to a Flic en FLAC beach. Within walking distance to a small grocery store and restaurants. Decent size main bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The other two rooms were a bit smaller but both fitted double beds in them. The other bathroom was also spacious and had a washing machine in it.

Place needed to be cleaned better. Shelves were dusty in the bathroom and there were still used sanitary pads in the bin in the one bathroom. Bird poop on the veranda which looked like a few days accumulation. No plug in the kitchen sink so it was difficult to wash dishes. The pillows were also not too good.

Cozy place very close to ocean! From balcony is partly nice view to ocean and beach! Parking is secure and in garage (24/7 security guy). Good communication with owner! We can definitely recommend this place!

The location.the polite owner. The kitchenette though the basic ustensils can be upgraded for quality stay.(cutlery,knives,include non stick pans)

The bathroom cleanliness.the pool was very dirty this time.kids could not swim.

The host attitude..🙂

The lack of light around the pool at night time. Maybe need heated pool option.. The quality of cooking utensils...
