Corrieview Barn

Beautiful apartment, easy to find, great communication, welcome goodies, excellent position, walking distance to the old castle and view of Ben Nevis is amazing.

We had such a wonderful stay at Corrieview. It was easy to find, immacuately clean and the welcome basket of food and drink was just what we needed when we arrived. Our stay was relaxing, great to location to explore the area, Ben Nevis, Glenfinnan, Glencoe and Neptune's ladder were our plan. Fort William is a 40 mins walk away, you walk past the castle, the rail tracks (Jacobite train) along the river.. After a day away, is was great to come back the cottage, it's facilites and wonderful views.of Ben Nevis. Would recommend to everyone.

The view of the mighty Ben Nevis. It was amazing how it changed literally every minute. We loved the bedroom! The bed was very comfortable & the room was very cosy looking! The bathroom was very modern, with a large shower (though the pressure not the best, but that can’t be helped). The lovely breakfast basket provided was very thoughtful & also the Prosecco!

Didn’t realise it was on a main road, & noticed the noise from the traffic, but that wasn’t a huge issue, it’s just an observation. Had hoped there would be more information on what to visit around the area, but I guess we all have phones these days, so we can do that ourselves….& again, it’s not a complaint, we’re probably just old fashioned! We did find it a bit cold at times but felt bad asking for the heating to be turned up as it’s July! We used the throw off the bed when sitting on the sofa & that done the trick.

TV …. (Not that we watch this often) but the screen colour was a deep blue so appeared a problem and couldn’t be replaced during our stay the host was made aware and as I understand it has ordered a new TV 😀 so we bought reading books and jigsaws and visited the cinema and popped to the local pub for 1 or 2 to pass our evening time 😀

Location was good, very quiet. Wonderful views of the mountains. Loved looking at the sky in bed through the velux window. Lovely welcome basket upon arrival was most welcome.

Disappointed with shower, but this is only from a personal perspective. Pictures show a rainfall shower which is one of the reasons I selected this property, however, the shower didn’t have one.

Everything. Our second visit as home immaculate and had everything you need for a wonderful stay.

No complaints whatsoever.
