Little Easton Manor

The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom was lovely and clean for a shared bathroom. The little finishing touches like the shampoo's etc were lovely too. The fridge was stocked with a lovely little breakfast, milk etc.

It would have been nice for the tea room to be open properly even though there was a car show on. X

Immaculate rooms, shower is amazing very powerful and easy to use! Even has a 'boost' button. Breakfast was absolutely great. Plenty of choice! Really nice touch. I didn't meet hosts but I recieved messages that led to a really easy check in Loved the alpacas and the walks in local area, we ended up at a pub in little Easton called the stag which was lovely.

The grounds were exceptional! Way above what we expected and the pictures for this place do not do it justice! The beds were super comfy, the supply for breakfast was brill, the staff were super friendly, the grounds felt very safe, and so much more. This was wayyy better than we had first anticipated and the value for money was worth it.

The fact there is one bathroom is a little disappointing when up to 8 people can stay there. We were a family so wasn’t the end of the world but I wouldn’t feel comfortable if I had to share that with any strangers. The outside seating was okay but the fact it is open to both cottage 1 and 2 was a tad annoying as we wanted to go to bed but people were chatting outside our window for quite a while and late into the night.

It was a characterful cottage, well equipped, and set in the beautiful grounds of an historic building. A nice selection of breakfast items had been provided.

I got no response to my message to the owner/manager that I would be arriving late, having landed at Stansted. Communication turned out to be a big problem. When I arrived, the place was freezing because, I subsequently discovered, the cleaner had turned off the heating and left the window to the bathroom open all day. Th wouldn't recommend ere were no instructions regarding the heating system. This meant that I spent two hours getting to sleep after my flight and I had to wear my day clothes and a hat to keep warm. When I contacted the owner/manager the next day she admitted the error and apologised but didn't seem to understand that just offering a free breakfast in the cafe wasn't really adequate compensation when I had already eaten some of the breakfast items provided on the cottage. I tried repeatedly to get her to engage in an actual conversation with me about this but she ignored all my calls, voice messages and texts. This was completely unacceptable and on that basis I wouldn't recommend anyone staying at Little Easton Manor. It's also very expensive to get to from Stansted by taxi - £35 for a journey of about 6 miles.

We were totally blown away that we had a cottage. We thought we would have a room in the hotel. To provide breakfast, tea & coffee was exceptional. We would highly recommend Little Easton Manor to anyone who needed a place to stay. The cottage was welcoming, warm and beautiful. We cannot thank you enough. Kind Regards, Elaine Whiston.
