Casa mantarraya

Fabulous accommodation , a real home from home. We had the top floor apartment and were very comfortable. Very large sitting room with sofa and with a very well equipped kitchen, you can cook proper meals here with a oven microwave and hot plate, coffee machine and blender. There is a huge bed and the bedroom has a single bed too. bedroom and bathroom are spacious plus there is a garden and large balcony , it’s on the oceanfront. So it’s great for sitting out and watching the sunset through the trees Excellent Wi-Fi and big screen TV for Netflix etc. apartment is in a quiet area around 6 properties away from soggy pesos bar but totally quiet . Short 15 minute walk to the main centre along a paved beachfront promenade. And 25 minute to the best beaches on playa Norte. They even supply beach chairs for you to borrow.

We loved it all but the water pressure in the shower could be stronger

Ebert assisted us with all questions. We even had one where we couldn't close the one patio door. He was at home and came asap to assist us and fix the problem. Always a smile and pleasant. We could sense that he was willing to make us comfortable. The property is in constant improvement which we can see as a positive to the success of the property. All staff were nice and friendly as well. The dock is a benefit to the hotel as well for people who enjoy watersports.

We would like to see a microwave but that would not prevent us from booking the area again. There was one sighting of a cockroach that I did exterminate. Only happened once, it did not reoccur. Advise the owner to stay aware as some guests would scream in terror, lol.

Cheapest apartment we found on Isla, big spaces with air conditioning. The house was clean and liveable.

The bed was way too soft for us. The house is located on a road with not very much to do around so you have to take a cab to go everywhere (200 pesos a/r) unless you want to sweat a lot walking to the centre, we didn't realize it from the map. They could offer some bicycles at least. The "private beach", is basically a little pier where you wouldn't swim.

We had a lovely spacious apartment with all the commodities and a big comfortable bed. We had a really nice balcony and the check in was smooth. The apartment had at the back a garden with a lovely view to the lake where we did kayaking and watched the sunset.

Everything was perfect!

The staff was great. Answered right away. I accidentally left something behind and he delivered it to me at the beach! Great, friendly service.
