I liked that there is a coffee machine with extra capsules for coffee. I forgot to buy water, but in the fridge it was a cold bottle waiting!

Air-conditioning and very poor water flow

The location is great, but if you do not have a car, you’ll be in trouble. No bus reaches here, the nearest stops about 16 km away and goes once a day. It’s mainly calm and quiet, no loud neighbours. The place is quite spacious, except the bathroom. Taverns are walkable and really good, the seaside is lovely. A nice garden outside where you can read even after sunset as it has light. There were no mosquitos at all. The bed was very comfortable. The guys living next door that were supposed to help if we needed something did not speak English but were indeed very helpful in these occassions when we approached them.

This place was one of the strangest I’ve ever stayed in. First of all, it looks much better in the pictures. In reality it’s very dark and caveish, with creaky floor and squeaky cupboards. We had a sofa that was so worn out we never dared to sit on it. The kitchen is practically useless as it’s always dark there and we could not even find a knife that cuts a watermelon-only butter knives. No salt, no oil, if you wanted to cook, you’d need to buy ansolutely everything. The bathroom was incredibly meh. Tiny is an understatement. We’re around 180cm tall and of slim built - and we struggled. Pretty sure a person weighing more than 100 kg could not physically fit in there and it could even be dangerous. The worst part was the owner that did not understand what an invoice is. We needed one for our workplace to cover our expenses and all we got was a receipt, and even that had to be negotiated. I made an effort and sent all the info on how a Greek invoice is to be done but that only gave me a three day ignore. Very sad and hard to believe.
