Good spacious apartment.

Creaking floor. Neighbours dogs barking through the night. Guys talking loudly in the courtyard at the rear of the property at 230 am. Had to pre wash any cutlery, plates or glasses we used.

£250 deposit returned 3 days later which is much better than expected.....The good thing was this 2 bed apartment was more than adequate for my mother and I ... but I was pleased it was just us as the beds are far too small for more than one person, and didnt have any mattress protectors...which made me feel a little uncomfortable as they insist you strip the bed so we were presented with large pale yellow stains....:/ DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS OR WAZE, THEY WILL HAVE YOU HEADED IN THE WRONG DIRECTION. The bathrooms were clean. We kept them clean due to lack of instruction: we did not know how to use the electric showers as we are unfamilair with that system and there wasnt any instruction on how to switch the water on from a switch on the landing. Luckily we were only spending two nights and had a spa day at whinfell forest booked so we were gratefully able to use their facilities. The closeness to Centre parcs was excellent. The windows that did not open had dead bugs and live spiders having a grand old time in their corners. With no fresh air coming in it was hard to enjoy the place but I will say the furnishings were very nice.... & the cleaner who we met the morning we checked out was very lovely and I felt bad she had to apologise for the lack of ikea bags that we had been demanded to fill with our sheets and towels.

Tiny double? beds (seemed more like european singles) without mattress protectors. Bedroom windows only opened partially so it was difficult to get fresh air. Non block-out blinds meant the rooms were quite light in the morning. The sound of children screaming around the apartment downstairs was off-putting but not intolerable.

Everything we need was supplied, all facilities were working. Quiet and accessible location!
