Apartmani Ruza

Our host, Ruža warmly welcomed us, with local liquor and coffee. We also received a loaf of home-made bread, which is a nice touch, but was also quite convenient. That is, Krasno is a remote location, and on weekends and holidays you may not rely on the small local grocery shop. Next day, Ruža surprised us with an offering of pastry that she prepared. Kids (and parents) really loved it. The apartment has 3 bedrooms with 8 beds, which is something we could not find easily in the vicinity. Krasno is the entry point to the national parks and it has snow when elsewhere in Croatia it melts. Alpine scenery in Krasno is something completely different from Croatian Adriatic and yet it's only 25 km away from the coast. I highly recommend visiting in any season.

Ruza was very nice and generous. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with coffee, delicious homemade cake, and bread, which was very pleasant after the long trip. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, in a beautiful area, and hosted by a very generous host. Thank you!

Accommodation reflected the cost, we spent 2 nights and it satisfied what we needed.

Location is in beautyful nature park, but getting there needs some driving skills.

Apartment is inside family premices. You need to walk through someones livingroom. It the morning familys children were sleeping there and it was very uncomfortable to move around. We stayed with 3 children and there was no warm water or towels. Boiler was broken, I told owner, but the only solution was to use owner private bathroom. Before we arrived owner wrote to us, that she needs doposit of 100 euros, that was not written in booking terms.

Huge appartment in the middle of the forest with a great view. Owner is very kind and helpfull. Offered us coffee, drinks and fresh bread. Appartment was nice and clean. Beds are very comfortable, we had good sleep every night. Only downside is kitchen could be better equipped to plan a longer stay. Great price-value overall! Sveti Juraj beach is only 20 minutes drive. Expect some serpentines, but you get the view of your lifetime.

We missed a freezer and dark curtains from the windows.

The house owner ist the most guest-friendly lady we ever met. We felt very welcomed and loved our stay here. The village is a beautiful and quiet starting point for hiking trips as well as road bike or cyclocross training loops.
