I'm not gonna lie,I heard a lot of terrible things in the reviews about big fish,but my room #807 at Sandy Beach resort,for what I paid was worth it to me,I'm not sure about other rooms,but mine for what I paid was reasonable in my opinion.I had one bedroom with two beds,there were some imperfections on the walls here and there ,such as some cracks a few small holes,but nothing that made me feel like It destroyed the overall vibe of the getaway and resort experience in all.For the most part the room was comfortable and clean,with a stunning ocean view that did not disappoint.I left one star off due to a slight delay when I initially booked,but the next day the staff promptly answered all of my concerns and put me at ease.They have two smart TV in the unit so you can connect to all of your streaming services while you are there.I also left one star off because when I went to use the vacuum the the handle was broken,not a huge deal,just small things that could be tweaked.Overall for what I paid it was well worth the value,and I would go back and recommend.Again this is room #807 at Sandy Beach resort in Myrtle Beach SC,I cant speak for other rooms ,but I had a good experience.

Broken vacuum handle A few imperfections, small holes,cracks on wall could be patched with a little spackle for a slightly better overall asthetic,just a small recommendation,along with a small slight interior update decor to give a more modern updated look,but again these are just slight recommendations,all very inexpensive upgrades,but other than that I am still satisfied with my experience for what I paid.Good job big Fish 👽🤙🏾

The property and room was great. It was really nice and cleaned. We had fun with the little time we had at the pool.

We had been staying the whole week at a different resort and decided to stay one more night. Unfortunately the resort we were staying at was already booked up on a Friday night. We decided to book this room. We checked out of the resort at 11 and was hoping for an earlier check in. They said they offered earlier check in if room was clean. However I checked to see if we could check in early at maybe around 12ish for the after 2pm which would be $50 more. Which understandable. We were told we were unable to because the room was still being cleaned. Which sucked because we have a 6 year old walking about in the heat till 4 so we can check in. We finally were able to check in at 4pm. Which the resort itself was not very helpful on what to do. All they could say was you have to check with rental company on check in. By the time we got to the room tried to go to the pool we only could stay for about 30 minutes because my 6year old who was out in the heat all day was tired so we called it a night and ordered pizza. Then to our surprise no phone service in the room. We tried hooking up to WiFi which again another surprise. The one WiFi signal box near the room we were in was out. I called the 1800 number that was given for WiFi issues and was told it wouldn’t be until the next day it could be fixed with a technician. Luckily they did have regular cable.
