Great location with a lovely view of the port and very helpful and gracious hosts.

The apartment is situated right next to the port, I got the loft without the sea view however I really enjoyed it and its little balcony! All the necessities were there.

Very nice location in a cute village. Spacious 50m2 (not 100), quite clean and very cute atmosphere in a lovely old building.

Main problem is that the add is VERY MISLEADING: you "think" you're going to rent a 100m2 with Sea View, like the pictures (and the confirmation you have by booking does say the same) with reserved parking space (my mistake) and breakfast included. IN FACT, if you're not paying enough attention (because that's the owners explanation) you might end up with an 50m2 because the place is divided in two and you might NOT get the Sea view AT ALL 😱. And you will hear EVERYTHING that happens on the other side of the door ?!? (like EVERYTHING). Parking is just "find your own spot in a really really packed narrow street. The breakfast is a total joke. (see pictures). You will NOT get the microwave, coffee machine or toaster that is in the description. BONUS : the owner asks you for 15€ PER PERSON .. IN CASH at the end of the stay ?! (I already did 55 reservations on booking, I never had that ONCE ?!). Then the owner makes a claim on booking that I damaged the apartment?!?.. and didn't leave the money. (FORTUNATELY I had made dated videos of the place and of me leaving the money and keys and closing the door behind me, [with no possibility to reopen] and I send them to Booking) Geat place but dishonest advertising and owner. (the other comments do refer to the FULL 100m2 reservation, do not make the same mistakes as me)

Everything was perfect! From the space, decor and coziness of the apartment that literally felt like home (beautifully and thoughtfully designed/decorated by Giorgio himself, who is an architect!), the most charming view overlooking the port, sea and square where the local townspeople congregated - to the kindness, generosity and INCREDIBLE hospitality of hosts Maria Angela and Giorgio - two extraordinary people who go out of their way to make sure their guests are comfortable and happy in every way throughout their stay. Maria Angela was like a godsend and went above and beyond for me - picking me up from the train station (with my extremely heavy bags), bringing me morning treats, coming to my immediate rescue when I was having trouble connecting to the wifi (which was my fault!). I felt so at home in this place (even before I set foot into the apartment) and feel that I have made lifelong friends. Also the locals who live in Porticello absolutely captured my heart. A charming little fishing village with the most breathtaking sites nearby on foot and lots of cute restaurants and neighborhood shops and bars right your doorstep. Wonderful loft apartment in the heart of porticello, a smaller fishing village outside of Palermo. The apartment is well equipped for a stay over a couple of days. Giorgio is a wonderful host and made sure I had a great stay. I can highly recommend the apartment also for people considering to stay more than a couple of days
