Beautiful converted horse box. Great log burner. Isolated and private.

The overhead solar lights indoors didn't function but it didn't affect our stay!

The location was just fantastic. We were rained out the whole time, but it somehow added to the cosiness of the hut. Especially with the log burner on. We were also close enough to plenty of outdoor activities, nature reserves and local amenities in Aviemore. Perfect, peaceful location. Myself and partner will definitely be back here.

I loved the outdoor shower, was a new experience for me but the view is amazing and the water was nice and hot. Outdoor toilet was nice & clean. Was great to sit in the chairs in front of the wood stove looking across to the mountains & watching the flames. Kitchen is well equipped & the bed is nice & comfy in it's own little alcove, you will have to climb over your partner to get out though if you're at the back. Area was lovely & peaceful with main towns/attractions close by although this is the kind of place you can sit & do nothing at. Supply of wood for the stove was much appreciated. This place quickly became one of my favourite places to be. The lack of electricity only lends itself to a more intimate & romantic atmosphere

I think for what this place is advertised as there is not much improvement needed, the little touches made all the difference and the only reason I mentioned the bed/alcove is because both myself & my partner don't sleep well & can be up and down all night so if that's not an issue for most people then there is no issue! :)

Best shower I have had-ever. Zoe, other lady and partner very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Great views, cute stove, exceptionally comfortable bed with quality, fresh linen. For info-easy close parking, tea, coffee, sugar (not milk) and cooking oil provided. No electricity, cool box outside. Shower external, with privacy screen, toilet external, no running water/sink, hand gel on wall.

The chemical toilet and it being external to the studio, with no sink/running water but everything else a great experience.

Basic Highland huts (but well decorated) with luxuries to make it easy!

This is a 5-star hut for couples. Exceptionally clean property, comfy bed, had all necessary amenities. Location is 15-minutes drive from the city center of Aviemore, located in the woods. Sunrise and sunsets were unbeatable. If you are running away from chaotic cities, this is the place.
