Sunny Ponta "Nomads' village"

Easy access to the location, personal garage parking spot, the place is clean with lots of complimentary items, 2 open terraces to the outside.

We booked this 3 bedroom apartment but 2 out of 3 bedrooms had clear infiltration issues and visible mold with a strong smell. They are completely unfit to sleep in. We had young children (ages 6 and 4) with us and it was unacceptable to expose them to such conditions. We had to squeeze into one room while my husband slept on the couch for 7 nights. The host obviously did not show me the bedrooms on arrival, we found out that evening. On top of that, the washing machine was also unusable, there was mold everywhere. Also the photos online do not match the actual bathrooms nor the outside furniture even though those were the first words the host said when giving keys... This property should NOT be listed in its current state. *Do not book if you care about your health.* Photos talk more than words, I have attached just a few...

Location, garage, view and apartment has a lot of space

Apartment needs small repairs, there are some infiltrations, windows need to be fixed. Some bugs enter the apartment and there are cats around that make some loud

Great location! You can walk to the beach. Close to Funchal and the main attractions. Supermarket very close by. Great host Elisabete .

There are some stray cats in front of the location.

The host, Elisabete, was waiting for us outside to show us how to access the security gate and parking garage. She explained the keys and showed us all around the apartment. She also provided a list of Things To Do and restaurants and left us wine and cookies. She's a wonderful host. The apartment could not be nicer. Very spacious, clean, nicely decorated, secure, and comfortable with not a lot of stairs to have to climb (we are seniors). We really miss the great view from the balcony where we ate all our breakfasts and the dinners we cooked in the well-equipped kitchen. We also appreciated the extra towels to use at the beach. A wide parking space in a secure garage is definitely a plus for Madeira. And the location is central for getting all over the island.

A few lights bulbs weren't working making the kitchen a bit dark, and making it hard to read in the lounge.
