The property had superb amenities by far. This definitely made it value for money. It might not be listed but the kitchen is equipped with both a washing machine and a dryer. This was fantastic and made sorting out my washing far easier. The space is cosy, there's a decent amount of space for two, and it is comfortable to stay in!

A few cons to keep in mind is that the primary bus service to the area is the 121 (n/a if you're driving around of course). Which sometimes does and does not run. The local app, Saarfahrplan, is helpful to hand. Keep in mind bus service is more limited on Sundays. The next biggest con for me was the occasionally interrupted internet speed. The hosts were responsive in buying more data, but I would quickly run out. I was working from abroad, so this wasn't great when I had video calls, and in my downtime, impacted any streaming services I wanted to use. The first time it happened, I messaged the hosts in the evening and they bought a data package the next morning. The second time it happened was the day before I was scheduled to leave so I didn't flag it a second time. That said, if internet services are likely to be limited by their ISP throttling after a certain amount of data, that needs to be made clear to guests so they are aware that it happens, as well as what to do if it does happen; or some sort of alert system should be in place for the hosts to be aware when this happens and so that they can top it up without guests having to ask. The last con, and a minor one for me, but worth keeping in mind for those with accessibility needs is that the apartment is on the top floor, meaning two flights of spiral stairs up. Being on the top floor also means the ceiling intrudes on the living space, so anyone tall trying to use the edges, i.e. one side of the bed, or the kitchen, may run into a few bumps on their head.
