Convenient. Comfortable. Characterful. Will certainly look to to stay again. Highly recommend.

Great comms from the guy who owns the property, very helpful Lovely small gestures, milk in fridge, bread available Amazing powerful shower! Location was convenient for the reason I was staying in St Albans, however being so near to 2 pubs the noise was awful, people still yelling and talking at gone midnight.

Parking was almost an issue, as no street parking available, but I was just lucky someone was leaving the nearby carpark when I arrived. The mattress was firm, but I could feel the springs through it. The curtains were cream, which meant the sunlight shone through and woke me up way too early!

The location (the only good thing) The host was a nice chap but when I contacted him to say we weren’t going to stay he didn’t get back to me.

The overall cleanliness of the place was terrible. The beds were unclean (inside the beds and the bedcovers) the place needs a massive clean, the cooking facilities are really dirty - we left without staying

The owner is very friendly and was very helpful with our dietary requirements for breakfast. It was a good location for what we needed. The bedrooms are a good size, and the kitchen is well equipped.

Some of the beds were not very comfortable, but it's ok for 1 night. As there is no living or dining room, the kitchen is the main place to eat, and it was a bit cramped to have dinner and breakfast for 5! But again, for one night it was ok.

Location is perfect. Great location. Great host.
