Situated beside the old castle walls , views from this property are amazing . It really is an incredibly beautiful place. This was the second time we stayed in Kato Khora and hopefully we will have more. The rooms were clean and comfortable, thoroughly recommended. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

We liked everything!

A perfect place to stay in Kithyra! Exciting view, very friendly people, very good position at the center of the island!! We enjoyed our Easter holidays there!

We were in the ground floor apartment which had been beautifully renovated and very tastefully furnished; it is one of the best presented properties of the many in which we have stayed in Greece. The kitchen area was well equipped, the twin beds very comfortable and the bathroom had a proper shower cabinet (not the standard plastic shower curtain) and a washing machine. We even found the washing machine instructions in English in one of the kitchen drawers. There was a tray with basic supplies including rusks and coffee, and a bottle of water in the fridge (which also had a separate freezer compartment). We were also given fruit which we greatly appreciated. The property is very quiet, centrally located on the island and there are a lot of good walks in the immediate vicinity.

The only things we didn't like were no fault of the property's owners, but are matters we would have liked to have known before our stay. There was only one local taverna within walking distance and no shop, so it is essential to have a car to stay at this property. We found the approach road quite intimidating when we first arrived - steep, narrow and with a considerable unprotected drop at one side, supposedly one-way, but as ever in Greece, not actually so, at least out of the main tourist season! We did get used to this quite rapidly as, fortunately, visibility was good and we never had a problem encounter with another vehicle. Our other difficulty was the absence of mobile phone coverage, at least for us on Vodafone. Apparently Cosmote works there, but because its website is in Greek (apart from the home page), we have been unable to obtain a sim card. We were therefore unable to contact the person with the key when we arrived and wasted time driving round trying, unsuccessfully, to find a place where we could get reception.

We had an amazing time in Kato Chora. The house is charming and the apartment has everything you might need for a comfortable holiday. The village is a sleepy little fairytale, where you can unwind and rest in silence and wonderful nature. Manolis and his father were great hosts and took good care of us. We always had fresh sheets and towels and additionally got lovely surprises like figs and melons from their garden. Thank you very much for making our holidays memorable, Manolis and Dimitris!

An amazing traditional property located close to the castle of Kato Chora, with an amazing sunset view. Manolis was very friendly and a great host who helped us a lot to explore the island. Highly recommended!!!
