Casa Alto Santo António

Very nice hosts. Luis and Fernanda were super friendly and warm hearted. We felt very welcome and at home. The view from the roof top terrace is spectacular. You can see the sunset and sunrise. We were kindly allowed to use roof top terrace since the roof top apartement was not occupied. The house is located in the middle of a traditional banana plant with all kinds of other fruits and vegetables, a small paradise. The barbeque was well equipped. You can see and hear a levada running behind the house. We will definitely come back!

The property is just a bit different than the ordinary -- placed in the middle f a banana plantation. Very quirky place and large apartment with a sea view!

There was nothing that I didn't like but I guess an aircondition system would be a good addition for the summer months. I was there in October and it was quite warm in the bedroom when going to sleep.

The garden is amazing. The view is stunning. On one side the ocean the other side banana trees and waterfall. the Owners are lovely and very helpful. They gave us mangoes and banana from their garden. You need a car to go anywhere. by foot you can only reach a lovely pebbles beach and a couple of bars/restaurants

The view from the apartment and the proximity to restaurants was great.

Cleanliness of the apartment could have been better.

The location was calm and beautiful, and not far from amenities and beaches. Our host was great, and super helpful. He gave us great recommendations and locations for local groceries and markets.

Spectacular view. Walking distance to restaurants and beach.

You need a car to get around.
