Beautiful cottage in the middle of the forest and close to the lake. Great stay for a weekend, highly recommended.

No wifi, just in case you need it.

Very peaceful and clean cabin in the middle of nature, yet not far from nearby attractions. Perfect for a quiet retreat.

The beds were soft but that is question of what you are used to. The cabin is quite basic so make sure you bring everything you need, including salt and matches. Also worth nothing is that living room, which features two beds is connected to the bedroom, I.e. no corridor in between.

+ spacious and well-kept traditional wooden cottage. + terrace. + parking right at the doorstep. + fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, etc. + very quiet area, peaceful and tranquil place, no noise from the road close-by. + perfect place to start exploring the High Coast (Hoga Kusten) including the famous Skuleskogens National Park.

* more a wish than a negative - a washing machine would be a plus for guests staying for more than few days; * rather a clarification for potential guests - the photos give impression of a "romantic wilderness" but in fact the setting is between a main road and a coast tightly packed with other stugas; - looking back we found it a bit too expensive for two persons (but adequate for a family) and level of services offered, especially since we were so unlucky that there were wasps in the SAUNA and bird's nest in its chimney making it UNAVAILABLE, unfortunately it indicates somewhat lower level of carefulness and professionalism of the host who should have come to check it before our arrival or at least offer some discount
