Rowan House B&B Rooms & A Self Catering Apartment

We found this place to be first class for a B&B in every respect. Ample parking and a friendly welcome from the hosts who had communicated well with us before we arrived. Everything is clean and fresh, tastefully decorated and fully up to the appropriate fire and safety standards. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The shower room was well appointed, clean and fresh and the bathrobes a nice touch. New double glazing, blackout blind and curtains. Great WiFi with fast speed and good signal. There was extensive choice for breakfast and everything prepared to our request. Rowan House is about 10 miles from the main road down a mostly single track road so don’t rush the last bit of the journey but the peace and beauty are wonderful. The hosts provide a wealth of information about the area in a room binder and are available to discuss further details and help with suggestions for visits and eating out.

Peaceful setting, perfect hosts Scotty n Anna are so friendly and helpful, rooms are spotless clean, delicious breakfast porridge was awesome....hope to retun soon.

Anna and Scott were wonderful hosts - so friendly, helpful and informative. We stayed in the B&B part and the breakfasts were made to order and oh so tasty! The Loch Goil room was cozy and comfortable. There are a couple of good walks close by and a beautiful view of the loch right out the front door, and our room. Overall, a wonderful, quiet respite for a couple of days.

The bathroom was across the hall, but still private. The road to get there is a single track with pullouts. This can be stressful if you don't plan for it and just take it slow and easy.

The ambience and scenery were breath-taking. The apartment has all reasonable facilities for us to have a very enjoyable stay. Anna was very helpful and kind with signposting us to nice areas to explore.

Absolutely loved the quiet break from the city. Scotty & Anna were lovely hosts and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was great. Will definitely be back and would strongly recommend to anyone that wants to discover this part of Argyll

beautiful little appartment. It had everything we needed. Little kitchen, small living room with TV, also small outside sitting area. The appartment respectively the whole village is located a little remote which we liked a lot. Very peaceful and silent place. Not to forget hosts Anna and Scotty. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wunderful stay.
