Sunset house

Excellent value for money. A €10-€12 taxi ride from Puerto de la Cruz Bus Station. We had everything we needed for a 3-night stay. We didn't have a car but were able to explore the (very hilly) area on foot and by bus. We spent most of our time in Puerto de la Cruz and La Orotava.

It took us a lot of trial and error to figure out how to open the front door with the key. The key for the gate got stuck in the lock which was very frustrating. While the location was quiet and peaceful during the day, the neighbours' dogs barked all night long. Although the El Elevador de Aguas de Gordejuela (Casa Hamilton) appears to be right beside the property on the map, it's actually a 30-minute walk away. There's no direct access to the Sendero Rambla de Castro from the property. The bed was okay but the host refused to bring additional bed linen for the sofa bed.

Parking spaces right outside the property. The kitchen was small but very well equipped (toaster, pots and pans, some spices for cooking, etc.). The bathroom also had plenty of toiletries. There was a fan in the closet which was really handy on the warmer days. Short drive to a supermarket and lovely restaurants, as well as the Loro Parque. Overall, a very tidy and well-equipped apartment.

The neighbors next door were really loud and so are their dogs. I had earplugs so not a huge issue.

Interesting place, hiking trails nearby. Good wi-fi and free parking in front of the house.

The neighbors are noisy in the evening and the neighbors dogs barked in the morning.

Great location for doing the Gordejuela / Romantica trail 👣👣. Good layout, place feels spacious. Enjoyed the mountain view terrace . Pretty well stocked with essentials. Probably the most comfy bed on this trip. ❤ if you are staying in the area, try Casa Pedro restaurant, amazing food and service ❤❤❤

Tried to use the grill but the neighbor didn't let us.😳 Could use more cutting boards. Kitchen faucet leaks if not screwed real tight. 😉Bus stops are a bit of a hike up, bear in mind if leaving with a suitcase. 😅

Good location, very cozy house, good internet, a lot of little things which make life comfortable.

Bad smell from bathroom. It would be nice if there was a microwave in the kitchen.

The apartment location was very convenient for visiting both northern and southern Tenerife, with parking right outside. The host was responsive and self-check-in worked smoothly. The apartment is functional and located within a development, but had everything we needed. Very good value guachinches (local restaurants) are 10-15 minutes walk away up the hill.
