Wander Residence Condo near Fort DeSoto

An outstanding place to stay with the family in Florida. It had all we needed - comfortable arrangement of the rooms, well equipped kitchen, simple but very clean bathroom. In the condominium area there's laundry room with washing machines and dryers, club house with billard, sofas and books, etc, but most of all there is lovely swimming pool and hot tube open till late!! They are situated right on the seaside, so the view is awsome! There are also tennis courts and 2 tennis rockets +balls were left in our apartment for use. Location is perfect: just few minutes drive from the most beautiful and relatively empty beaches in the area (Fort De Soto). It's also very close to St.Petersburg and St.Pete's Beach.

The room was clean and well stocked. There were extra towels. Even laundry soap! Great room. Will be back for sure.

Great location to the beaches. The condo was furnished and had extra beach towels.

the automatic/key pad lock system failed/malfunctioned, and it wouldn't lock the door after the first day arriving. we called the main office, and they told us someone would come check it out. After waiting for 1 hr, no one showed up and had to call again. We were informed they couldn't get a hold of the maintenance and had issues before. they asked if we would be comfortable being there while the door wouldn't lock - obviously no. We asked to be changed into a different condo and was told to wait and see what they can do. Another 30 minutes goes by, and my husband got the ok to take the batteries out so we can manually lock the door. We were told the next morning maintenance would come by 930 to fix it, but no one showed during our entire stay. The laundry room wasn't clearly labeled or signs directing you, besides telling you it's in the club house. I called the front desk and they didn't know where it was. I ended up finding it and telling her exactly where it was. This part is out of their control, but there was a bird that sat right outside the bedroom window. It woke me up every morning by 5am.
