Great location. Beautiful and comfortable apartment. Good value for money. Will be my go to place in Heraklion in the future. Host was super helpful.

Good location. Relatively quiet despite being in the center.

Our first impression entering the room is that the photos embellished the reality. Old and worn furniture, broken mosquito screen for the window. Smelled unpleasant and felt unclean overall. We usually don’t mind the stairs, but the narrow and steep staircase was a challenge for us staying on the 3rd floor with heavy suitcases even for my husband and our adult son. My husband hit his head in the staircase going up, which was not a good start for us (you actually need to be very careful going up or down the stairs if you are tall). Sofa bed was very hard. We had stayed in a nicer, clean and modern apartment in the city center for less. This apartment is not worth the money.
