B&B CASA VACANZA Cioffi

The property is a large apartment with comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and modest kitchen. Enzo and his family were great hosts, despite the language barrier. He was very keen to help out in every way he could and provided us with a regular supply of fresh fruit and vegetables from his garden. If you are not renting a car, it’s a pleasant 15 to 20 minute walk to the bus stop. There’s a small friendly shop nearby and a cheesemaker.

The kitchen was a little small but served the purpose for simple meals.

VERY clean! You get to truly experience the Italian culture here. I highly recommend renting scooters (roughly 40-60 euros per day). It makes it easier to travel up/down the hill. The owners were so nice, and the area is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! It is roughly 50 minutes from Positano and roughly 45min it’s from Sorrento. I loved experiencing the Italian culture here, it doesn’t compare to the rest of the “City life” of Italy.

Vico Equense was an amazing place. Though, in order to get to the bnb, you must travel up the hill/mountain. Purchasing a Taxi isn’t ideal, so you either must take a bus (not very efficient) or rent a motor scooter (highly recommend). Additionally, coming from America, the bath tub/shower wasn’t something we were used too. It was just a tub with a shower head handle (no curtains). There is also no dryer (which is most of Europe). I didn’t think it was a big deal at all, I actually found it unique! Otherwise, no complaints at all!
