1. Excellent staff! Such fantastic service! 3. Excellent amenities. Towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shaving kits etc, that could be constantly replenished from the hallway. 4. A good concept of a communal area on each level, with a balcony. 5. A really good location. Close to supermarkets and restaurants and a really good beach for swimming. They also have scooter rentals and free bicycles! 6. Free laundry washing service. 7. Excellent price-value! 8. The staff keep the surroundings consistently clean and fresh. 9. The air conditioning works very well, as well as the wifi. 10. The bed is comfortable. 11. The kitchen stove works very well!

1. I could not give it more than eight points out of ten because of the really strange design of the rooms. The bathroom is way too big, about two thirds the size of the bedroom itself. Because of this, there is basically no space to put luggage or anything and so the bedroom is horribly tight. The size of the bathroom could easily be reduced by half, to make the bedroom bigger and provide space for luggage, even though it is nice to have a large bathroom. This was the major thing that prevented me from giving a higher score. 2. The kitchen could do with a few more amenities and utensils. I had to even request a pot with a cover and, since I cook full meals, it was hard to really manoeuvre that very well.

Proximity to the supermarket (it is even closer than any convenience store) & restaurants. Free old bike rental - thanks to this it was really convenient to visit the island (however, without a bike or rented scooter/ car sightseeing of the island would be very difficult).

It is difficult to be found on Google Maps if you don’t speak Japanese. Getting to/from the airport is difficult if you don’t want to take taxi & long distance to bus stops. Nearby streets are not lit at night.

I was able to check in earlier than the official check-in time, which helped my itinerary at Miyako a lot. Thanks to the host and the friendly staff at the venue organising this!
