S. Bartolomeo II° - "La Loggetta"

We absolutely loved the property and quietness…it was everything we wanted. The host was amazing. Very good with communication and recommendations to places. Definitely need a car to explore this beautiful place 🍷 we loved being able to cook our own dinners and enjoy some red wine and enjoy the amazing views. We rented our car from Movers which were at the end of the road. Nadia was amazing to deal with. Cannot recommend this accomodation enough.

The bed was extremely hard. We had to try use extra blankets under us to make softer.

What an amazing place it was! In the heart of Tuscany, far from any noise, amongst rolling hills, in a large private property was this wonderful villa. The full upper level with its outside "al fresco" dining area was ours, we indeed had dinner there every night looking at the sunset over the neighboring vineyards. We felt that this La Loggetta would be a perfect place for any artists who would need unparalleled relaxation to create art.

We loved everything about La Loggetta. Marcella was very kind and helpful, the location was beautiful (you do really need a car), and the apartment was a charming blend of rustic and elegant. It was very spacious, clean and homely.

It was the true Tuscany experience. The farm was stunning and the house shows the history of the place. We had the perfect view from our balcony and all windows. Better if you have a car - we did not, but we love to walk - but there is a grocery store 20min from the house and Montepulciano is around 40min as well.

There is nothing we did not like. Just be aware that there is no oven and only two burners on the stove, but it’s a perfect place to cook simple meals while enjoying the coziness and beauty of the Tuscan country side.

Fabulous location, wonderful hosts, incredible hospitality! Would return in a heartbeat!

Nothing not to love.

The hosts were really lovely, helpful and approachable. The apartament itself was spacious and well equipped. We loved the Tuscan feel of the place. Towels and additional blankets were provided. The location was great to drive through Tuscany and a small part of Umbria. The view from the apartment and the area was also wonderful.

If you want the heating to work, you need to pay additionally, so if you have set budget on your accommodation take that into account. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The location, views, size and space, great amenities, plus friendly hosts made this a fantastic stay. I have been travelling for 7 months with my fiancé and this is the best place we have stayed. A bit out of town and away from shops etc. but easily walkable or 5 minute drive.

Lovely and tidy garden, convenient parking, fresh towels and linen, nice view from the windows.

No mosquito net in windows so flies, bees and mosquitoes were flying around the rooms, house full of unnecessary things which the owners probably didn’t need anymore but didn’t want to throw away (old tv, folders with documents, bags, clothes in the closet etc). Also very poorly equipped kitchen with worn cutlery and plates. Fridge didn’t close properly, needed a second push to tighten door.

Lovely atmosphere, amazing host, breathtaking views. It's a bit of a walk from the town or the bus stop, but even without a car we managed just fine and had a great time. I would love to come here again. Overall the best place I have ever stayed at!

A unique experience in a nicely decorated villa in the countryside. The house is authentic and atmospheric, within walking distance to the old town of Montepulciano (about an hour) and to Montichiello (about an hour and a half).

I liked everything. However, It could have been nice to have basic nessecities like instant coffee, tea and shampoo, since the house is quite isolated, and there are no shops or cafes in the vicinity.
