Parking is terrible

The property had everything we needed. We arrived on an equipped kitchen, most probably other guests left there a lot of things to use. The location is excellent, the Port beach is 2-3 mins walk away, also the Drach cave is reachable on foot. Hypermarket is also 3mins walk.

Parking was awful, even in post-season the vicinity was crammed with cars, we usually could only park 5-6mins walk away. There is a parking lot at the church which is free 6pm-10am if that helps! In warmer weather there is a smell, probably coming from the shower sink, it could be solved with a siphon! We had wasps coming constantly from somewhere, I had to kill at least 30 during our stay, one even stung my wife unfortunately. It would be a nice touch to have equipment (especially toilet paper) for the whole stay The owner asked for environment tax whereas it had not been mentioned in the booking page. I informed her that booking guarantees prices and that there are no hidden fees and fortunately booking helpdesk settled it for us. I can see now it is corrected in the fineprint, so mind that cost!

excelent location, cute apartment

Location was excellent, right in the heart of Porto Cristo and just a short walk to the beach and esplanade with plenty of places to eat. 2 convenience stores close by (walking distance) made it easy to get groceries for meals. The area felt safe to walk at night. No noise from neighbours. Easy self check-in using lock box. Host was kind and responsive when we needed anything. Aircon worked great in the summer heat. Enjoyed the balcony and having a kitchen was handy. Free parking.

Parking was free however very difficult to find a spot as the streets are small and full of people. We had to park a few streets away however most of the time we were able to move the car closer late at night. The place was clean enough, however overall cleanliness was poor (i.e. musty odour, towels did not smell clean (we just washed them in the machine), dishes were dirty, given a used kitchen scourer, bathroom drawers had hairs in them from previous guests, crumbs in kitchen cupboards). The bed was comfy however new pillows are definitely overdue. The bed only had a thin sheet and a spare blanket was provided however no quilt cover was provided for it? The place lacked MANY basic items/facilities that i think are important to note for future guests: we were given 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 bin bag. The host explained guests usually get 1 roll of toilet paper per stay, we explained we were 2 people staying for 5 days and were then given 2 more rolls and some bin bags from the host's home. The kitchen had 1 dishwashing tablet, no salt & pepper, cooking oil, baking paper, bench cloth, or other necessary items that I would expect to be provided with when booking a place with a kitchen, we ended up having to purchase all of this ourselves. For those travelling for long periods of time, this is a waste of money as we cannot carry around these items in our luggage. No bathroom soaps were provided, and all products that were provided were only 1/4 full?? In future i think this place would really benefit from providing these simple items, it would make the stay much more convenient and welcoming.

Small, narrow apartment. Some unpleasant smells from the bathroom. Musty odour. Not very well equipped e.g 1 toilet roll, 1 small towel set for 8 days, no Bon bags or welcome pack (e.g. water).

The location is perfect for a stay in Porto Cristo . 5 mins walk to the beach ( down hill ) . Ten mins walk along the harbour side to the restaurants . The apartment is very pleasant and clean, with a good size shower ,comfortable double bed ,and a fully equipped kitchen . Our host was very helpful ,and answered out messages promptly .

Great location, and close to a range of amenities. Friendly host who was quick to reply. Great little kitchen - useful if you don’t want to eat out all the time. Good size for a couple. Bathroom was nice and clean - good size.

Needed more utensils - we ate in more than 50% of the time on our stay and found ourselves needing a little more of things like knives, bowls, utensils. Mattress is a bit soft for our liking but some like this! New pillows for the bed would be nice as they were a little worn. it would have been nice to have olive oil etc provided, and washing up sponges - but salt/pepper was a good provision!
