CASA AL MARE SEA VIEW HERAKLION CITY CENTER

Great location, very walkable part of the city. View from all rooms directly over the harbour. Very close to good restaurants, walking distance to the Archeological Museum. The most spacious apartment we've stayed in this trip. Washing machine was a big advantage.

Yes there is some noise from the nearby airport but this would be an issue anywhere in the old city, and stops at night,

The actual property entrance was hard to find, no markings or signs on the street to indicate where it is located.

I chose this property in part because it promised a lovely view, but I was not prepared for how truly stunning it was. As a matter of fact, it is so beautiful that you can forget about going anywhere and just stare out the window all day! If you do manage to go out, then you’ll find everything of interest in the historical center just a short walk away. The apartment is spacious, luminous, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is very well equipped if you want to cook. The beds are extremely comfortable, the pillows of good quality. There is a large TV in the living area, and each bedroom is equipped with a TV, as well. Finally, the host makes it very easy to check in and check out.

There is a good deal of noise from traffic outside, but in warm weather, if you close the windows and turn on the air-conditioning, it’’s not so bothersome.

Location, cleanliness, comfy beds, nicely decorated.

Maybe the host could have left some coffee for the machine. But there is really nothing to fault - it’s beautiful.

Check in time at 3pm with no real indication where the rooms where( no signs, no direction as to where to wait in what was a cold day ) sitting in the street.. that is rude

Location was great. Apartment was really clean & had everything we needed.

Little bit difficult finding the front door. That could easily be fixed - maybe a photo with an arrow, or some signs at the front door. Apart from that, it was great place & would definitely go back there next time we stay in Heraklion.

Host was excellent, bake a cake n basket of fruits to welcome us. Apartment is very clean n nice walk to restaurant n 15 min drive to Vai(Bai) beach.
