Albatross Beach Apartment - SPA, Sea and Forest

Great hosts, great location for leisure weekend

Great location. The apartment is a decent size for two adults. Bed was super comfy. No noises from neighbors. The seaside and forest close by, we walked 4km along the beach and on forest trails. Great restaurant nearby, only have to make reservation. Spa also next to the house. Great if you go with kids, there is a wonderful playground in the area. 5 min car drive to a yummy bakery KuKul.

Just a tiny comment - the coffee machine had coffee waste from previous use. Other than that - everything was perfect!

Nothing to be honest.

We were not told at any stage that the restaurant was closed during our stay and that the Spa referred to in title was also closed all day for one of of the two days, partly open on the second and then with very limited facilities. All the advertising lead one to believe it was all open. The deception that all these facilities were on offer continued right up the day of our arrival when we got an email from our host, with links to book at both the Spa and the restaurant. We were then on our way to the property and it was too late to cancel. We asked for a partial refund and were told that we could get a refund AFTER we wrote a good review. Need I say more? Just to be clear there is NOTHING to do in this place without the Spa. There is no reason to visit in the winter if the Spa and restaurant is closed. There are no other restaurants, shops, nothing. The TV in the apartment isn't connected to any TV channels, or streaming services and the screen was filthy. Lastly our stay was in winter and after heavy snow no one cleared the path to the apartment block we were in. Prepare to step into a snow drift and the one time I slipped and fell in Latvia, was in at Albatross.

Great get-away from city noises and rush. Cozy apartment 10min walk from the sea, enough space for 3-4 persons. Well equiped, great for short stay. Silent village (at least during winter time), great spa and restaurant just a few minutes walk.
