Alphalink house

Nothing. Worst place i have ever been in the world. This place shouldn’t have an ad to rent, it is an inappropriate place to live.

I was fooled by the ad, thinking it was an entire house, but there was someone else living there. I didn't like anything about this place. On the second day, I wanted to leave. I don't recommend it. - Extremely expensive for what it offers. £500 for a week in this place was the worst money I've ever spent. - The place isn't an entire house. They divided the house into studios with a shared entrance. In other words, there's no privacy. - Please note that check-in is at 5pm, at the end of the day. So I paid £20 for early check-in and the host came in person. - I asked questions about the space on the app, and when I met the host, she rudely complained about the questions, even though I PAID for the space and had the right to know about it. - The host said that the television had been vandalized by previous guests, she didn't fix it, she couldn't turn it on, and I spent the entire stay without a television. - There is no intercom, you have to leave the “studio” to open the door to receive deliver - The only instructions given were about check-in and internet, I didn’t know how to turn on the heater and I was cold all week - The house is in terrible condition, the furniture is very old and full of insects, there are spiders everywhere. It needs renovation and good pest control. - The bed linens and towels were of poor quality - The second-hand curtains let in a lot of light, making it difficult to sleep in the morning - The bed is hard and uncomfortable - The pans were disgusting, scratched and old - You can hear every footstep and even the upstairs neighbor talking, his car takes up the entire space in front of the house - No mention where to deposit the bin - There are children in the two houses next door, they are screaming all day, noisy environment - Safesearch active, internet without privacy - Too far from city center, 30 minutes walking and nothing around the house

Nothing really, it was dirty and disgusting. l don’t understand how the property has such a good rating and good reviews as that was my reason for choosing this property. But now l have stayed and experienced Alphalink house. l have nothing positive to say.

The kitchen was smelling ( not sure where the smell was coming from). The curtains in the lounge were disgusting as they were filthy. The plates, cups and cutlery and pans were dirty, they had food stuck to them. l had to go buy paper plates, disposable cups and plastic cutlery. There were no instructions on how to use the hot water service and being from Australia we don’t have these systems, so instructions would have been easier. The mildew that is on the windows in the lounge windows was not acceptable, and the food splashes on the splash back should be cleaned, even the crockery should be washed clean after each stay. l have photos but there is not enough space to show all of them. this is for the upper floor. l am not sure if the lower floor is in better condition than l had. Very disappointed with this property.
