Yalos Mykonos Ornos Pouli private apartments w shared swimming pool

The location of the villa meant you had beautiful views of the ocean. Good sized rooms and the pool was lovely. The aesthetic of the villa itself was very beautiful. Highlight of the trip was definitely the people! Anastasia and Nikos were very welcoming and helpful, we truly felt looked after.

Lovely views. The property is up a big hill, about a 20 minute walk to Ornos (where there is a nice beach, a couple of supermarkets and restaurants). The walk back to the property involves a steep climb which should only be attempted if you are fit and healthy!

Be aware the property is quite far away from Mykonos main town. Options are to a) rent a car, b) catch bus from Ornos (they are quite infrequent), c) walk (this took me about 50 minutes - during the cooler month of May. Avoid walking in higher temperatures or at night - dark roads that are poorly pedestrianised). A taxi back to the property at nighttime (from Mykonos main town) cost me between 20-25 euro. However be aware this was in May when taxis are easy to get - it is much more difficult to catch a taxi during peak season.

The property is beautiful, spacious and very clean (daily cleaning). Lots of areas within the property to hang out and was very comfortable - Home from home. Really good kitchen facilities and accessories. Amazing view. Good location, access to local buses, shops and bakery. The property was very good value for money, especially, on comparison to other properties in Ornos and Mykonos town. Anastasia the host was really lovely, welcoming and friendly and always available. The hill to the property was steep, on a positive it was great daily exercise to work off the lovely food and drink.

Perfect experience! Special thank to our host, she took care of us in every way! Helped us out with everything and was there for us every day! Amazing view from our Patio. Clean, Safe and just perfect for a stay in Mykonos!

It was a great property with great inside views and the view of the Ornos beach. The house had all the needed facilities for a comfortable family vacation.

It was quite uphill and getting their is difficult. Managing without a rented car is almost impossible.

We received a friendly, welcoming and helpful greeting. Lovely little apartment, clean, incredibly comfy bed, nice view. It is close to some restaurants and a nice bakery but, like others, I'd recommend having a car. The apartment is up quite a steep road and the roads in Mykonos aren't the best for walking (mostly narrow with high walls, no footpaths and terrible drivers - foreign and local). The pool looked very inviting but it was a bit too chilly when we were there. It was lovely and quiet because we were there at the end of the season so there were very few guests. The kitchen (which is exactly as cramped as in the photos) was equipped but a few things were missing, there was only one knife for dining but three for chopping veg. Although awkward, we make it work.

We had no wifi for the whole week. The staff said it was due to a previous guest resetting the router incorrectly and that they'd have to get an engineer out to fix it. Nobody turned up and we didn't hear any more about it. We felt more like they were just saving the pennies at the end of the season. We think the cleaners tried to come at about 8am which is rather early. We were still asleep so our room didn't get cleaned the whole week. Not a problem because we're tidy, just thought it odd.
