City Blessed Aptm 3 with Free Parking

This apartment was perfect for what we wanted. We needed somewhere short notice for the Great North Run after our first hotel cancelled on us, and this was much better than we expected. Communication was great. Parking permit was sorted quickly. The apartment was clean. It was very spacious with a comfortable living room, and although advertised as one bedroom it was actually two decent sized double rooms. Clean kitchen with fridge and freezer. Bath and shower, with toiletries provided. I honestly think the hosts undersold this place in the description as it’s better than described. The location is great for both the metro and ferry, and close to quite a few shops and pubs etc in the town centre. We were worried about noise from the bar below, but couldn’t hear it at all for 2 nights and for the night they had a band on, the noise really wasn’t that bad and finished relatively early.

Nothing. Everything was great.

Photos posted vs actual space in dining, kitchen and toilet. Table for dining was not stable and was like it may fell anytime.

Lovely rooms, very clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to town centre. Free parking although the free parking pass was out of date I spoke to the agent and she took my registration number and put it on their account so we didn't have to pay. Would definitely recommend.

The area is a little rundown so not a nice view but it didn't matter the apartment was 100%

Good sized apartment with everything you need for a short stay. The parking permit was very handy as parking in the area would be limited otherwise.

The bed frame could do with tightening up as there was quite a bit of movement in it. Be aware that traffic in the area at rush hour can get very busy.

We were given a different apartment at short notice and this wasn’t at all suitable.

Small gap down one side of the bed was almost impossible to navigate. The towels were very smelly and unusable. There is a bar underneath all of the apartments and people are always smoking in the door way which is quite off putting.

Minor problem with keys on arrival but dealt with very quickly by hosts. Overall good communication made it easy for the stay.

Absolute minor things like a plug for the sink which was missing but that’s an absolute minor nit pick.
