New Stylish and Cozy House near Metro Station

Overall, clean apartments, nice location, very friendly owner, and easy access. Private parking is a must if you are traveling by car; there is no public parking nearby. An elevator in the building is a nice bonus if you have heavy luggage. Comfortable beds.

Lack of equipment for the kitchen, old infrastructure, and furniture. Cold: If you're traveling in winter, note that you can't adjust the thermostat. The setting is relatively low. Air conditioners can be used for warming, but they are very old and noisy. The bathroom towel drying rack is connected to the heat radiators, not to the hot water system, so that it will be cold or barely warm most of the time. Also, the bathtub plug was broken, so only the shower was available. I was forced to replace the shower hose as it was leaking.

The appartment is located in Voulgari area, away from the center and traffic jams and parking problems everyone has in Thessaloniki. However, the building is literally less than 2 min away from Voulgari metro station and hopping on the train gets you in the center within 10 minutes. Appartment is well equipped and has everything what is needed for a short stay for a family and/or individuals. There is a parking spot in front of the property, behind the heavy gate, operated with the electric motor. The appartment was clean. There is a nice balcony and all the windows are secured with mosquito nets. Rooms are airconditioned, although we haven't used the aircondition, given the date of travel. Dimitrios was very helpfull during the check-in and during the stay. We will definitelly come back to this property.

One thing was, nothing seriois, but a bit strange - we could not lock the appartment from inside. The door lock is automatic and it locks when the door is closed, but having a key in the cylinder or some other means would probably be better. Dimitrios ensured us that building is safe and it was ok. Bed pillows were a bit stiff (probably new) but everything else was ok.
