The apartment was very modern and comfortable in a very central location

The building was very old with a lot of construction noise below and the next door neighbours were very loud with many arguments and a screening child.

The apartment is within close proximity to central Torremolinos. Good wifi connection You can bring a dog for an extra €25 The host answers messages promptly

I don’t know where to start. So many negatives unfortunately. Firstly the host charges a €100 deposit which wasn’t clear to me until after I’d booked and paid the non refundable amount for my whole stay. If I’d known beforehand I would have booked something else. There are many options. They don’t accept cash. It needs to be paid by card, through an app online before arriving at the property. The host will send you countless messages and emails about this, which all need to be translated if Spanish isn’t your first language. You also need to fill in online registration forms written in Spanish. An unnecessary hassle in my opinion. I don’t normally need to do all this. That’s just the start. Other reviewers mentioned the noise, but I overlooked it. I thought it was just bad luck due to other tourists in neighbouring airbnbs, but it needs to be said clearly, that the noisy neighbours are NOT tourists. They are the family that live right next door. I’ve never heard anything like it in my life and I’m well travelled. Shouting, screaming, arguing, crying, smashing glass, slamming doors, loud television and keeping their front door open so the noises and smells are amplified. And that’s just from the adults. There is a screaming child. An absolute horror. The noise is intolerable, discourteous and disrespectful. And it was ongoing. My stay was for 4 nights. I reached out to the host after 1 night as I didn’t feel safe with all the arguments and smashing glass. The host said the neighbours do fight sometimes, and he was sympathetic, but he didn’t provide a solution and refused to relocate me or reimburse me if I left. The host told me I could leave if I wasn’t happy but of course I’d lose the money I paid. I apprehensively asked the neighbours to close their door but I felt intimidated as a solo female traveller. I think the host could have had a word with them on my behalf since I’m a paying customer.

Great room. Well clean.

Accomodation on the 4th floor with a broken lift during most of the stay. On the last day we found out that the lift was working again. The room had all the conditions you needed and was clean, but it's location was a bit unexpected, along with some noisy neighbours 🙂
