excellent location. well appointed decor. comfortable beds and great linen. best accommodation in the area.

access is difficult. signage not well marked should provide more info on how to get there and which turn off to take for easiest access. area is quite remote and restaurants close early - so plan ahead. Also this information should appear when booking. They have a washing machine - but must provide own detergents - this must also be indicated in information when booking.

Beautiful cottage well equipped friendly reception.

We arrived and could only enjoy it for 2 hours, once the electricity went down we had no light, water, or connectivity. A few short candles were available but no matches, and one small ineffective emergency light. We requested if load shedding was scheduled and the answer was a certain no. Other parts of the village did have electricity. We struggled to get hold of the caretaker as cellphone reception was also affected. We eventually got 3 bottles of water to wash. We left the following morning still with no electricity. What a disappointing wedding anniversary stay. No backup plan in place for premium accommodation.
