The apartment is perfectly located in the heart of Ponta Delgada's city center. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The host was incredibly welcoming, meeting me on arrival and taking the time to explain all the key places to visit, as well as the best local foods and drinks to try. On top of that, she was kind enough to allow me a later check-out than originally planned. Overall, a great stay with excellent hospitality!

This is super well-located, easy walks to everything but still quiet. Rafaela is an amazing host (speaking English, Spanish and Portuguese), and if any issues come up she handles them right away. She also gives you a super comprehensive guidebook, and all of her recommendations were fantastic. The space is great and comfortable and has absolutely everything you need

The bed could be more comfortable, but we disliked the pillows everywhere we stayed on the island so it may just be the Azorean style of pillow!

in the middle of the city centre so everything the city has to offer is close by. The host was very friendly and helpfull.

The apartment is next to some (very noisy) bars. Since it's an old building you can hear everything (including neighbours) which has the result that we didn't sleep well. You can tell that the appartement is in an old building. It is pretty humid, musty and warm inside the apartment. The water from the shower is unpredictable: can take a long time for warm water to flow, but can be hot very suddenly. Water pressure also changes. Be aware that parking and getting to the apartment by car isn't easy: very narrow 'one-way' streets. You must be lucky to find a parking spot in front of the apartment: it is paid parking and there's definitely some risk others cars damage yours because the street is very narrow. There's free parking at the very end of the street but this is roughly a 7 minute walk. The wifi was a bit slow too. These are all traits of the apartment that the host can't really be blamed for, but be aware of these disadvantages.
