Pineapple Studio

It felt like visiting friends :) We had everything we need, Pablo and Olivia were so kind, they made us a plan and showed us the best places to visit during our stay. The location is great, we had rented a car and we loved everything about our stay. The studio is new, cozy and clean. Olivia was so kind and sweet - she even washed our clothes. We had a basket of local products as a gift :) I really could not recommend this place more! We would love to return one day ❤️

Paulo and Graca are excellent hosts. We had a wonderful stay at their place and would love to visit again when we travel to Azores next time. Obigado!

Pineapple Studio is run by a wonderful couple, Graca and her husband Paulo a policeman. It’s named Pineapple Studio because they also run their generational business of greenhouses in which they raise pineapples. It’s a wonderful apartment, with Graca as the best host anyone could possibly hope for, always looking for a way to go above and beyond. It’s spotlessly clean. Everyday she changes the (very nice) towels, makes the bed and cleans! Her personal touches were greatly appreciated such as the basket of packages of cookies, crackers, chips and even a bag of oatmeal. The wifi signal was great, the shower was hot with great water pressure, the bed was comfortable (although I found it a bit soft), the area was very quiet, the kitchen came with every type of utensil or dish one would need to make a meal on either a 4 burner stove top and a microwave (no oven). There was even a washing machine onsite and although we didn’t make use of it, this was an amenity that was difficult to find in our travels. Free parking is right onsite--literally just steps away from the front door. And the property has a steel security gate that makes everything private. There's a shopping mall and 2 large grocery stores both within about a 10 maybe 15 minute drive from the property. Perhaps within about 2-4 blocks away there are 3 different small beaches where you can watch the waves crash into shore. And the airport is about a 15-20 minute drive away. We wanted to extend a special thank you to Graca for her assistance to us the first morning after we arrived so late the night before. Thank you for your assistance with the rental car place. And we appreciate your understanding with my extreme fatigue after almost 3 weeks of being on the road. All I wanted to do was sleep and Pineapple Studio provided a home away from home for us where we could relax and catch our breath. Thank you Graca for all your efforts. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer.

Maybe the bed could have been a bit firmer? But that's definitely a personal opinion as I don't care for soft memory foam mattresses. Pineapple Studio is perfection. We cannot sing its praises high enough.

Our second stay at this apartment was just as wonderful as the first, if not more so! The cleanliness of the place was exceptional, with daily housekeeping keeping everything spotless and fresh towels provided each day. This attention to detail in maintaining the apartment truly made our stay comfortable and hassle-free. The highlight of our experience, however, was the incredible hospitality of our hosts. They went above and beyond, treating us with the warmth and care as if we were part of their family. Their friendly and attentive approach made us feel truly at home and added a special touch to our visit. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a spotlessly clean, cozy, and exceptionally welcoming place to stay. It's evident that the hosts are deeply committed to providing a memorable experience for their guests.

Stay at Pineapple studios was just perfect. Paulo e Graça are so kind and welcoming. The studios are so clean, well organized and well located to visit the island.

It's a wonderful place to stay. Hosts are incredible.

There were problems with hot water in the shower.

Everything was very clean as well equipped. The hosts, Graça and Paulo, were friendly, helpful and informative. We really enjoyed our chance to talk with them and appreciated learning more about their pineapple production. The walk to town to a couple of different, excellent restaurants, was not far. It was very easy to get from their place to the airport in the morning.

We have had very good experience during our 2 weeks stay at this place. The owners are wonderful and very helpful. If you have no idea how to explore the island with a great enthusiasm they help plan a tour. The apartment is well equipped, nothing is missing, an additional advantage is a place to park, so you do not have to worry about where to leave the car. Graça often does laundry so you can confidently take fewer clothes. Graça and Paulo have created a magical atmosphere and staying at Pineapple Studio makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!
