We were lucky that one of the property staff bumped into us on arrival and got us our key - I wasn't sure where to collect it from, thought it was in a key box by the appartment but it was, it was else where - as all the communication was in German and I couldn't get the details in my translation. The appartment was large and as a family as three we had enough space. The kitchen was small but had what we needed, a lovely basket of products on arrival and useful things like sponge, washing up liquid, salt, pepper, tea and coffee - a lot of appartments could make this small gesture to make stays in appartments that much easier and nicer! Helped us leave it nice and clean too! The view was lovely towards the mountains and it was just a short walk either along the road, or the little river into the town area. There were lovely resturants, gelato places, shops and our family favourite the water park! My husband walked from the town to Tegernesee which was about 30 minutes away one evening to visit the brewery when he didn't want to drive. It was very helpful to have a car space included too.

We had to set up the sofa bed for our little boy which was fine but then we found a few bugs in the back cushions. Also behind the towel radiator in the bathroom we found at least 3 towels that had fallen down the back from previous stays - just a couple of details but overall the appartment was very clean and cared for. As the appartment was on the top floor it was much hotter than the other floors - the appartment was very warm and we had some cooler days, about 10 degrees cooler than a few days before - I don't know how we would have coped if it had been hotter!
