Appartamento La Vigna

The view is beautiful. The flat is very nice. The owner started very kind and helpful. Easy to find flat and nearby towns have what you need.

Next door neighbors are very noisy early in the morning with dogs and yelling so be aware. There are no shower curtains just shower heads and a bathtub. You are encouraged to not use the air conditioning even though it is listed as an amenity. We left one on accidentally when we left early morning and it was expressed to us the hosts dismay at this. It was maybe on at 25 degrees Celsius for two hours. The recycling is required, and this alone is no issue. We were asked to separate essentially everything and place it in extremely small bins outside. We stayed four nights with three people. We went through a fair bit of food and waters so the recycling was very full but we were not told another spot to put them. So we filled the bins and stacked paper and glass etc the best we could with limited space. Once again the host made sure to tell us it was a “disaster”. We had no where else to put it to our knowledge. Get larger bins if you accept longer stays. Finally, do not take the ferry to other towns from Sala Comacina. No ferry returns to Sala Comacina. You’ll have to walk for one hour in the road which is not safe- from Lenno. Instead, drive and park in Lenno and ferry around from there. That way you don’t need to walk in the dark if there is no bus/ taxi.

We loved everything about the property. The view was amazing and better than the pictures. Caterina was wonderful, she offered us early check in and late check out. She also helped us with our luggage. Fabulous communication throughout our stay. Thank you Caterina! We would highly recommend!

The hill climb without a car, but that didn’t bother us too much as it was good exercise.

- Collecting the keys and leaving the keys was a problem. The person who handed over the keys was very rude, she was asking several times why we are having different passports compared with our residency country. When we left the flat, even if I informed her with 30 min in advance that we will need more 5-10 minutes, she didn't agree and even left the place and told us to leave the key on the table. I would recommend the owner to discuss with this person to improve the people skills, not mattering from which country people is belonging.

the view is amazing! we had a great time in the Apartament. This is a place to go with no rush, with family or friends and just enjoy the region nearby. Awesome attention and communication with the owner! 10!

Perfect view, big and comfortable apartment. Very nice lady that is taking care of the guests. We had a lot of good information from her about the region. Everything was perfect.

Large flat: 2 floors, large living room with kitchenette (with fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher), large rooms. Large terrace with great lake views. The kitchen have everything you need to cook and wash dishes and even some food for us to use (cofee, tea, olive oil, vinegar, mustard, a pack of pasta, milk,...). Good heating, rooms are soundproof (some people can be watching tv in the living room while others sleep in the room), good wifi. Everything looks renovated. Enclosed parking. Less than 1 minute by car / 5 minutes walking to the road that goes around the lake. Google maps sends you to the correct address. Easy check in and check out, even arriving late at night.

It is necessary to separate the garbage (organic, plastic/paper/glass and others). The bathroom does not have a shower curtain.
