Fillipo was an amazing host and very kind. You are able to drop your bags off very close to the tower, but you cannot keep your car in the ZTL zone (follow Fillipos directions, not your GPS). We were able to park our car in Fillipo’s private garage for €10 a day, which was great. The location could not be any better.

Nothing major that we didn’t mind. The mattresses are firm, which did take a night to get used to. Fillipos garage was a little walk from the tower itself , but it’s private parking and that’s how parking goes in San Gimignano, it’s all on the outside of the walls.

Filippo our host was fantastic. Spoke good English as our Italian is not good. He met on arrival by hire car outside the city walls and drove us up into central SG to drop off our bags. Then provided secure safe parking only 10 Euros Day short walk outside city walls. Filippo showed us where to go few restaurants points of interest etc. Meet as arranged by phone as we arrived and very helpful. Location excellent and our own window looking over the main Piazza. 1100 AD Tower room very special. Large spacious well-appointed bedrooms living area. The sounds of the city at night brilliant as we sat in the tower room with our evening drinks

Beds need to be larger - king or Queen is best and not so small. Single beds also very small.

Location in a tower right in the centre of the city

It was perfect, we could easily move in and didn’t want to leave. The apartment was right in the centre of town, in a tower! Bedrooms were very comfortable, huge and from the other side so we could happy sleep when the town was still buzzing at the night. Kitchen well equipped and the whole apartment clean and spacious. It says 2 rooms but for truth there is another single bedroom in a tower making it 3 which was very convenient for our 2 teens. Spacious living room and a separate dining room ; kitchen with a balcony on a lower level. San Gimignano is magical but staying in this apartment took it to another level. We will definitely come back! The very nice owner met us by the gate to a town and took us himself to an apartment giving us tips where to eat, go and some inf about San Gimignano and Toscany. We were greeted with a bottle of a local wine by him! In whole a really amazing experience.

This place is just magic, the only place to stay in San Gimignano. Great for families with all the facilities and space you could possibly want.
