Pansion Matoula

The hostess is very friendly. The accommodation was very clean all week and the bedding & towels were changed regularly. The air conditioning worked well and was not restricted. There is a room safe at no extra cost. I had a balcony with partial sea view / table & chairs and a drying rack. The accommodation is a short walk from bus stop 1 and is quiet at nighttime.

It was a traditional Greek property run by a friendly family. The rooms were cleaned daily by the owner. Our particular room there was a view of the harbour from the balcony. The area was quiet although close to the bus station and town.

All good.

The location is an easy walk from the town, restaurants, supermarket,airport and bus services yet still manages to be quiet. Matoula is charming and looked after the room and us so nicely, even leaving freshly hard boiled eggs with the beverage supplies. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed having our lovely balcony that looked out onto citrus trees and the hills. We would very happily stay here again.

Maria is a gem of a person as well as her kid and the place! Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality! If we come back to Skiathos, we definitely will book at your Pansion!

Perfect place. Wonderful Mrs. Matoula met as right away and took care for everything needed. My flip-flops were dirty and made a mess, and dear Miss cleaned it right away = Awfully sorry indeed!! Everything was ideal, right from the arrival till our departure. We had wonderful time = Thank you Mrs. Matoula!!!

The location was spot on for a stay near/close to Skiathos town and all its facilities. It was also peaceful, very handy with some tavernas and the bus station close by plus its a flat walk to and from it with some steps up to the first floor accommodations. I loved the balcony with its privacy curtains, better than usual shower area, lovely garden and my room had the most amazing mural. There was also lots of space for my things and plenty of sockets. It was a nice touch to leave me some boiled eggs for breakfast and I appreciated that there was washing up liquid etc there plus a bottle of water, some tea and coffee too. It was a lovely typical, but better than many, Greek pansion and I hope to visit again in 2026.

Nothing could have been better.

The location was good...quiet but only a short was from the town. The room was clean and bright and the bed was comfortable. The owner was very welcoming.

The bathroom and shower were a little cramped but adequate.
