But what really stood out was the *vibe*—peaceful, welcoming, and full of soul. It didn’t feel like a rental; it felt like home. Location-wise? Absolutely unbeatable. Nestled in a quiet yet vibrant part of Slovenia, we were within walking distance to incredible local cafes, charming boutiques, and picture-perfect sights. It was the ideal launch pad for our daily adventures—and the perfect haven to return to each evening. And let’s not forget the hosts! Incredibly kind, responsive, and full of local tips that made our stay unforgettable. They’ve clearly poured heart and soul into this place—and it shows in every single detail. We had a wonderful night’s stay on our cycling trip. Amazing decor and furnishing & wonderful view. Very welcoming hosts too. A short walk to local supermarket & the best restaurant we went to in all of Slovenia!

Amazing location surrounded by mountain views. Walking distance to grocery and a few restaurants. Accommodating and helpful hosts. Comfortable beds and big rooms.

The appartment was wonderful! We had a great stay for three nights. The beds were amazing, the location and the view were so nice. Very close to the vintgar trail and the Bled lake and the most friendly hosts. 10/10!!!

The apartment was really nice, very clean and tastefully decorated in 70’s RETRO style. There was a kitchen, separate dining room and bathroom. The 3 bedrooms were very spacious and the beds very comfortable. Two bedrooms had access to a generous sized balcony which had stunning views of the surrounding area. We loved sitting in the balcony, especially in the mornings having coffee. The host Alesj was wonderful, very friendly and helpful and gave really good tips about where to visit and took the time to show us best parking spots & driving & walking routes to Lake Bled. He is a super tour guide. Sponde Gorge is a village just outside Lake Bled so ideally situated for exploring the region. It is only a 5 min drive on main road or 25 min walk on smaller country roads. Five-minute walk from apartment, there is a supermarket and a bar with a playground/skate park. Within 10 mins walk there is also a lovely restaurant serving local produce. Whilst on our holiday, we mostly went to the Lake Bled area to enjoy swimming, diving, paddle boarding, sunbathing, jogging and walking. We also took a Pletna, (traditional boat) out to the island, visited the church. There are lots of restaurants and cafes in Lake Bled so we had no shortage of places to eat. We walked from the apartment to Vintgar Gorge (Slovenia’s largest natural monument) which is at the edge of Triglav National Park. Be sure to buy tickets online in advance. We also visited the capital city Ljubljana, (30 mins drive) another must see- lots of bridges, restaurants and an amazing castle.

Not a point that we didn’t like anything, only that maybe a couple of mobile fans in the rooms to add air circulation, but the weather was extremely hot at this time of the year
